So I decided to venture out and finally try snowboarding. I figured I that i'm going to have to deal with this snow and cold for a little longer, so I may as well make the best of it right? Me and derek went with my little brother and Cam and Lindsey. It was a good thing we went them because I definately needed someone who was new at it to stay back with me- Thanks mano!
It was a lot of fun, but lets just say that I'll probably stick to wakeboarding and other summer sports... After going down the first hill I was ready to give up and rent skis, but eventually I got the hang of it a bit. By legs were sooo tired by the end of the night because I had to ride heel side the whole way to prevent myself from flying down the hill. It was funny because me and lindsey didn't even need to be wearing the snowboards in order for people to tell we were new at it. We were just holding them and walking back to the lodge and the staff would make comments about us being new, saying we needed to give it another try. Oh well! Maybe someday i'll give it a second chance to see if I get any better.

I agree-- let's stick with the summer sports!!! Hey, did you get the email I sent to your hotmail account? Do you still use that account? If not, let me know your new email address--I need to know if you are coming to the little reunion!
Don't give up! Snowboarding can chase away those wintertime blues till its warm enough to hit the lake again... the lake. I can almost see myself at Lake Powell right now! (Almost)

Fun! Wes is always trying to get me to go... I have been prego for 2 of the last 3 winters so I use that as my excuse! You guys look like you had fun! Maybe next year for everyone!
