Up close and personal...

So last weekend was by birthday and we celebrated by going to the jazz game! I know most of you are probably thinking that it doesn't sound to much like me cause by husband is the one who is a sports freak! I mean obsessed- so it was kinda the last thing I was interested in doing. Don't get me wrong becaue I really do like watching the jazz, but when you watch ALL the jazz games, plus any other random pro team that may be playing, plus alot of the college games (especially at this time and especially the utes), and a whole lot of sports center, you just kinda get sick of sports. AND i had just gone through the exact thing with football too- can anyone else relate?

But, we actually had some way good tickets on the floor (from derek's mom's fiance) that I would've felt guilty making derek pass up. Derek felt bad because it was more of a b-day present for him then me. However... it ended up being so much fun. The seats were two rows behind the score table/and media and we got passes to have dinner before and desserts and stuff during the half. It was pretty cool to see all the players so close up and I found myself actually watching the game (well most of it!) I know we sound kinda lame- but we don't usually do that kinda thing so it was a kinda cool b-day. PLUS he was so cute and surprised me the night before by taking me to stay downtown and go out to eat and shopping, plus breakfast the next morning, so I really couldn't be bugged by going. Derek's mom's fiance gets these awesome seats every now and then, so there may be more games to come- So go Jazz!
