3 Years!

Yesterday was our 3 year anniversary and I can not even beleive it! We had a free stay to the Anniversary Inn so we figured what better time to use it then your anniversary... It was definately different by kinda fun. The room we had was in logan so we got to get off work early in order to make it up there- which I was all to happy to do! We went to dinner at Hamilton's (this nice restaurant with pretty good steaks- which derek was happy about). Afterwards we stopped by to visit Cam and Lindsey and watched american idol and part of the jazz game. I know its probably not the typical thing to do on your anniversary.. but we hardly ever see these guys, so it was nice to stop by. We miss logan (It was where we lived for our first year of marriage) every now and then so it was fun to be back!

It does not feel like we've been married for that long at all- but time sure flies. From living in logan, school, living in basements, school, to new jobs, new homes, school, boating trips, vacations, family parties, holidays, and much more- there have already been so many great memories and many many more to come. Derek is my best friend and is always making me laugh. He's kinda quiet in public, so no one really sees the louder goofy side of him except me- which I love. I honestly don't know how he puts up with me sometimes, and i'm sure at times he simply can't. They say opposites attract and I guess its true in this case, cause we could not be more unalike. He is so good to me and probably one of the most patient, kind people I know (which i'm sure most of you can agree). I've had so much fun being married, he's the best! Sorry for the cheesy post- I am so grateful for him and I know I just don't say it enough. Thanks so much D- love you!
