As most of you may know, I married one of the biggest sports fanatics out there. Funny thing is when we first met, he never talked about sports which I thought was weird because most the people I had dated talked about them a lot. Well, this was probably because Derek didn't want to admit how bad his obsession really is. And this is with all sports- NBA, college basketball, it's NFL, baseball, college football more. He's even gotten to liking soccor a bit- thanks to my sister. College football is definitely is favorite- and he's one of the biggest Utah fans you'll ever meet. We blame his father. He's brought me along for a few of the Utah games this year- which are always fun, but I just don't get into it as much as he does.
Well.. somehow his obsession is rubbing off on me. Maybe between going to and watching all the games, listening to sports radio whenever we drive somewhere, and it being all he talks about... Last night he went to the game with his brothers and dad, while I was home by myself. I didn't think I'd care about missing the game, but I found myself actually curious and wanting to hear how it was going. Weird I know, because I even had Grey's Anatomy to keep me occupied. You know the obsession is getting bad at your house, when a wife (who rarely ever cared about sports or Utah football before) is huddled next to the Internet trying to listen! (Yeah.. we don't have cable) Either way I guess I have to come forward and admit it: I've caught the disease- "I am becoming an 
obsessed Utah fan!" Everyone beware, once you start hanging out with us (Derek), you'll catch it to! Soon you'll start rattling off statistics you never thought you knew! Oh well... The game was awesome last night and their 10-0, so GO UTES!!!

Surprise, Surprise... Jess has become a sports fan! ha ha ha. It's not just you, my friend. My husband, like yours, is overly obsessed with sports and I have succombed to this obsession as well. Last night we watched the game on Comcast (that's right Derek, we have cable! make your wife get it) and I was just as into the game as Nate was. We screamed, yelled, cursed, and almost cried together as the Utes pushed onward. I didn't know you were home alone or we would have invited you over to join us:) You and Derek should come over next week to watch the San Diego game.
HAHA!! Amazing what pour hubbies can talk us into liking after 3 years of marriage!! I bet D is stoked!! Very good game I heard though... Wes was watching it on his iphone... no sound, just play by plays with dots on the screen! HA!
It happens to the best of us. haha By the way maybe we could watch the game on Saturday together. I think it's a late one again. But we need to hang out so I'll call you.

IT happens, I actually started liking hunting this year cause Jon is such a fanatic about hunting it kinda just rubbed off like you said. Oh well I guess we get to spend more time with them.
