After being a faithful bachelor watcher for several seasons, I officially turn in the towel. They never choose who I want and lets be honest the show is a waste of my time and energy anyway! Boo to Jesse- I wish Graham would come back and then we'll see who she'll really want to end up with. Lets be honest Jason deserves better (Holly I think he's available now...) I was thinking over how many times I've allowed myself to become obsessed and then disappointed with this show, and realized that I don't think they've ever picked who I wanted since Trista and Ryan. I get much to emotionally involved, it is obviously quite staged, and I think it's time to stop by first admitting that I have an addiction and now making the decision to quit. (I know it's sad that I've watched so many seasons of this reality show version of romance, but lets be honest what better things did I really have to do with my time...) However, I must say it isn't the same as watching it with all by beloved friends and roommates up at Utah State. Either way I here and now resign and will now start finding something more productive to do with my time! Watch I say this now and then the next season will come and I'll find myself watching it again...

So, I've never watched this show, but I saw the last part of it last night. The other guy (Jason?) was so cute! Whatever.
I REALLY want to see you guys before we leave! Are you coming up to Logan anytime soon? I'll be in Salt Lake for a couple of weeks at the end of July before I head out, so we need to get together. Sorry we missed you when you stopped by a few weeks ago!

Am I incorrect in thinking we somehow squeezed 3 seasons of The Bachelor/Bachelorette in to our time at L3? It seems like it. I only watched the show with you girls- and successfully gave up the habit. It is true... it was only fun cause I like watching it with you gals! College and staged Romance just go hand in hand, I guess.
So I was hoping she would pick Jason too. I thought it would have worked out perfect for her. He has a stable job, and good head on his shoulders! Also she wants 3 kids by the time she is 30 and he already has 1... so she was practically half way there. So I was a little disappointed, but I do have to say that her and Jesse looked pretty happy together last night... so maybe I am ok with it now..
I am so over that show now, too. I was just annoyed seeing those two together in the after show. Sadly though, I will still probably watch next season anyway. I am such a sucker.
So I don't really care who she would have picked either way -- what gets under my skin is that they show all of the very best of one guy, and all of the very worst of the other to trick you. I'm sure they are leaving out 1/2 the story! Do they not know they don't HAVE to trick us because we are suckers that will watch anyway? Yeah, totally bugged.
i think I say I'm done with that show at the end of every season as well.. and then, BAM-- I always say, "Oh, lets just watch the first episode and see what all the people look like..." Yeah.. whatever. I was so ticked too!! I LOVED Jason. I told Roger if he died I was going to go find Jason. :) But, yeah.. he'll get someone way better anyways.. just wanted to say I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU.

Lauging out loud just so you know! And thank you for recommending me as the someone Jason deserves better...so flattered! I would be a good mommy to little Ty, I would. I am so happy you blogged about this, it really is great. But I'm with you, should have picked Jason. Jesse is great and all, but not quite husband material let's be honest. I heart you Jessica, and am sorry DeAnna broke your heart too!
HATE THIS SHOW! THough it is addicting when there is nothing else on! I didn't watch it this time, but I agree that they totally rig it to make you like the other person better... LAME!! Now you should just watch So You Think You Can Dance! Now there is a good show!! Call us next weekto hang out... for reals this time, I guess we can call you too!
I hope you don't give up on the show completely. Someday it will happen... the bachelor (or bachelorette) will chose who we all think is right for them. But you're right, its all staged to make us think she's picking one and then we're all disappointed in the end. :) Hope you're doing well.

Hey Jess, I know this is an old post but I have to say that I loved watching this stupid show with all the roomies too! (I got your blog address from Holly, yes I'm becoming a blog-stalker!) But I think I'm giving up as well, they always pick the wrong one. I'm never watching it again... until next season I'm sure. :) I was so glad to get your blog from Holly because I have often wondered about you since we were roommates. I kept in touch with everyone else ok but not you... sorry about that. I'm glad to see you two are doing great!
