Our version of Paradise

Lake Powell!

Last week we were able to go to Lake Powell with derek's dad and some of his family- thanks to Jace for the fun trip :) It was sooo much fun to get away and nice to take some time off work, especially since we haven't done much of any vaction at all this year. It didn't matter that were weren't lying on beach somewhere, cause Lake Powell is one of my very favorite places to go! Ya, i'm kinda obsessed!

We did alot of:

Tubing,

Water-skiing,
Cliff-jumping,

Derek's dad and brother batteling it out on the tube- we love that he is totally up for doing this kinda stuff! AND Derek slolemning...

Ya I know this isn't anything amazing- nothing like the 100 ft one that the boys all jumped off during our senior trip (any of you guys remember that thing?! I think back to that and wonder- what the heck we were thinking?) I don't know how I used to be able to jump off such high cliffs when I was younger- I've become quite the wimp since then. (Obviously Derek was pretty proud he was able to conquer it...)

And of course we did whole lot of this:

I am proud to say that I was finally able to consistenly jump and get air wakeboarding over this trip. Obviously this isn't me... Our camera was out of batteries. But I PROMISE I did it!

This picture cracks me up- this is Derek flying off the tube- his fall into the water was even funnier. As you can see his little brother won this one.
