So I've been avoiding my goodbye to summer until it really started getting cooler... No more sunburns, boating, campfires, or late night bike rides. Here are some of our favorites over the past few months that I never got a chance to blog.
Fish Lake with Derek's Family- thanks to his mom and John for the good times. Derek and I trying our hand at fishing.. no luck- and according to the words of Trevor... "There wasn't a DAMN thing in there"
Bikes! Yes I got a bike and me and derek had been having fun going on rides. I have a goal (sometime in the future) to do a race.
Hiking over Labor Day
Twilight... yeah yeah I got sucked in... and became slightly obsessed- I never thought I would be one to read about werewolves and vampires... who knew! Can't wait for the movie!
Park City! We stayed at the Marriot condo's up near the Alpine Slide. We rode the rollercoaster- which is SUPER fun! I definately recommend it if your willing to pay. Also went to the Art's Festival- Derek had a BLAST- not!
Camping in Logan. Okay so technically this wasn't over the summer it was just over a week ago... We spent the weekend in Logan and went camping with the Taits. If anyone has the opportunity to, I recommend camping with these guys. Anyone who shows up to the site with a movietheater popcorn maker and a screen to watch movies are my hero's! We ate so much good food in the dutch oven- yum! Either way I'm proud to say that I survived one night! Does it still count as camping if you sleep in the back of your car? Nice lantern guys!
What would a visit to Logan be without a stop at Firehouse. This place brings back so many memories and has some of the best pizza. If your ever visiting I definately recommend it. Mmm... I love the pizzookies! We also went to the Utah vs. Utah State game- sorry Aggies no luck!

Plans to take some St.George trips- hopefully they happen...
AND of course Derek couldn't be more excited to watch more and more football! He's obsessed loving the season so far, I can't say the same for myself... But the few games I have gone to have been tolerable. So "GO UTES!"

I’m so jealous you got to go camping with The Taits! I haven't seen Mono and Cam in a millennium!!! Looks like a fun send off for summer, Jess. And now I want a pazookie.
Hey Guys! Sorry about not meeting up with you at the game on Saturday but I ran into some friends and had to say hi and I was super thirsty so we had to get me a drink. But hopefully you guys had so much fun watching them beat Weber State. Let's do something again soon, though. Let us know if you're available this weekend. Love Ya!
Finally! Oh how I have missed you! Congrats to Derek on graduating! And what the heck is a pizzookie? Sounds delicious!
I think you should do a bike race! It would be fun to go riding! Jealous of little things like that sometimes...
You've become so outdoorsy... I can't believe it. I'm very proud of you.. but maybe you should try a tent next time. So poor Derek won't be so squished next time and I promise the animals won't get you. :-) Call me we want to hang out this weekend.
I miss you. I haven't blogged in FOREVER, but am back, and I am so jealous of your bike! I have been wanting one forever. Oh, and is Jason seriously the new man...I can't wait, do you know when the madness begins, we should plan a party and watch one night together!
